OfficeClip uses Crystal Reports.Net runtime to display all its reports. The reports file has .rpt extension and is placed in various directories in the resources folder under the root directory of OfficeClip.

OfficeClip also provides ability to create quick reports using the OfficeClip's internal report generator. Currently this generator has limited scope and can only create reports a one level of grouping.

All the OfficeClip reports are configured using an XML file called reports.xml (located at the ~/resources/reports directory). This file can be customized by the site administrator to modify report sql and other parameters. Reports can also be selectively switched on for a particular group or set of groups.

Note: The version of crystal reports bundled with OfficeClip has limited licenses. For more information on how to buy additional licenses, please contact Business Objects. OfficeClip internal reports can be used instead of Crystal reports for creating simple reports.
