Locking and Unlocking Documents


 
  1. Users can directly see the lock/unlock status of their documents from "Functions " column in the main screen.
  2. If you would like to lock a document, go to the Document List screen. Under the "Functions" column, to the right of the document, click the corresponding Lock picture or Unlock picture .



  3. The Lock/Unlock picture will change to the desired status. If you would like to reverse the status, simply reclick.
  4. In addition, under the "Functions" column, you may click the corresponding documents Properties picture. In this way, you may view the document's properties, or details before locking. Press Lock to proceed.


  5. Note: A file can not be renamed if it is locked. Unlock the file to rename.
