Creating Tasks


 
  1. To create a new task, click New Task on the button bar within Tasks.


  2. Fill in the required sections to create the new task.
  3. A start, due, and completed date can be added. Users can setup the task's subject, type, priority, and regarding fields.
  4. With the "Regarding" field, tasks are tied in with the corresponding account, or with the relevant contact if selected and will be viewable on the Account List or Contact List screen.
  5. Tasks can be assigned a "Recurrence" in which the due date is set to each occurence of the task. The most recent tasks created are displayed in the Homepage Task portlet.
