Manage Portlets |
The portlets, which appear on the Home Page can be removed, minimized, maximized
and edited. |

- To manage the portlets, click Office Portal on the toolbar.
Then click Home Page on the left menu within Office Portal.Click Manage Portlets on the button bar.

The next screen shows a view of the available portlets. To minimize the relevant portlet, click the minimize icon, which appears as
.
To delete it, click the delete icon, which appears as .
- To edit the necessary portlet, click the edit icon, which appears as
The box to edit the portlet will appear on the rightside of the screen.
- The Layout, which is the top half of the configuration, includes the following:
- Chrome State: Gets or sets whether a part control is in a minimized or normal state.
- Zone: Gets the WebPartZoneBase zone that currently contains a WebPart control.
- Zone Index: Gets the index position of a WebPart control within its zone.
- For the Appearance, which is the bottom half of the configuration, includes the following:
- Title: A TextBox control is used to set the text for the title.
- ChromeType: A DropDownList control is used to select what type of title-and-border option is used.
- Direction: A DropDownList control is used to select the direction that content flows on the page.
- Height: A TextBox control is used to set a number for the height, and a DropDownList control is used to select the units.
- Width: A TextBox control is used to set a number for the height, and a DropDownList control is used to select the units.
- Hidden: A CheckBox control is used to indicate whether the control is hidden.
- Click Apply to save and stay in the Manage
Portlet screen. Click Ok to save and return to Home Page.
