You can setup any number of POP accounts and access them in one place. For an example of how OfficeClip works with Yahoo!, see Working with Various Email Servers below.

To setup an account, click on the from the button bar within . Click .
Enter your account name, your Incoming Mail server and Outgoing Mail server names.
Choose a mode of Send Only, Receive Only or Send and Receive.
Your user name for your external mail account is the first part of your external mail address (before the '@' sign).
Your password is what you use to access you POP email. This is not necessarily your OfficeClip password.
The color scheme will let you distinguish messages retrieved from different external mail accounts.
Outgoing email uses your SMTP server to send mails. If you need SMTP server authentication to send emails check the Outgoing Email server needs authentication option. You can also choose Use same settings as incoming mail server by checking the box.

If you check the Leave a copy of the message on the server option, the emails will not be removed from the server after they are downloaded by OfficeClip. If OfficeClip emails are removed from the Deleted Folder, these emails will again be reloaded from the server. |
OfficeClip email works with various POP and SMTP clients. Given below are instructions for using OfficeClip Email application with Yahoo clients.
Yahoo! Mail Plus account
Click on toolbar and then click Email from the left menu.
Choose a mode from Send Only, Receive Only or Send and Receive.
For Incoming Mail Server (POP)
type: pop.mail.yahoo.com.
For Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP)
type: smtp.mail.yahoo.com.
For Login User Name (POP) type: Your Yahoo! mail id (Yahoo email address without the @yahoo.com).
For Login Password (POP) type: Yahoo! account password.
For Reply Email Address type: Your Yahoo! email address.
For Server Options: check mark the box if you want the mails to be copied and not moved from the Yahoo! server.
You may select a color scheme to distinguish which emails are from your Yahoo! account.
Check mark the box that says Outgoing email server needs authentication.
Check mark the box that says Use same settings as incoming mail server.
Click on the button.
