24.2.6. Importing and Exporting Projects

If you already have relevant account and project information in a QuickBooks file, you can upload it into OfficeClip Projects. In QuickBooks, locate the information you want to export to OfficeClip Projects and click File > Time > Export List for Time and save this file in a temporary directory so it can imported.

  1. To import account and project information from a QuickBooks file, click on the Import/Export button on the button bar.

  2. Next click on the Import Customers, Jobs and Service Items from the QuickBooks file link.

  3. Click on the Browse button to select the file to be imported. This will import all the customers, projects and service items from QuickBooks Timer file.

  4. Press Upload to import the file or Cancel to exit without importing any information.
