27.4.4. Adding Service Items

Service Items are the billable entities of a timesheet. The user can modify the service items, and make them either billable or non-billable. These items can be customized while creating timesheet report templates for specific accounts or projects. Once the administrator selects the service items, the users are restricted to submit their timesheets only for the selected items. This feature even allows you to add header and footer to the timesheet.

  1. To create Service items, Click Service Items in the Admin menu bar. In the template, enter the service item code and name. Select the check box in the Is Billable column, to make the item billable.

  2. To modify an existing service item, select the corresponding item in the Billable Modify column.

  3. Select the corresponding Account/ Project to which the user belongs. If you wish to add header and footer to your timesheet, enter the required text in the respective text boxes and click Save & Next.
