It is designed to run on a web server that can be accessed via a web browser mobile device. Created using the Microsoft .Net framework, it provides flexible configuration and implementation on numerous web client devices (such as web browsers).

This overview describes the features and functionality offered with the OfficeClip Web Document Sharing application, an easy to use, affordable, low maintenance enterprise level Web Document Sharing software solution.

Platform Independent Client

The OfficeClip Web Document Sharing application is designed to run on a web browser, which ensures platform independence on desktop and mobile devices.

Powerful backend Sql Database

All the Documents are stored securely on the web server, with the encrypted folder names stored in an MS SQL Server database, providing architectural power and flexibility in a data-driven environment. OfficeClip applications are bundled with the Sql Server (Express Edition), which provides a low-cost, low-volume database solution which can later be migrated to a high-load, high-availability platform.

External File Sharing

Files that have been uploaded can be easily and securely shared with external users. This allows collaboration with clients who are not OfficeClip users.

System Requirements

The OfficeClip Web Document Sharing application can be installed on an enterprise server behind a firewall and can be accessed throughout the organization via a web browser. Depending on the security needs of the organization, the web server and network can easily be configured to access OfficeClip outside the corporate firewall.
