Web Document Sharing

OfficeClip Web Document Sharing comes in different editions. The Professional and Premium edition can be installed on an organization's server behind a firewall and can be accessed throughout the organization via a web browser. Depending on the security needs, the web server and the network can easily be configured to access OfficeClip outside the corporate firewall. The online edition can be run on the client browser and no local installation is necessary. The table given below shows the minimum and recommended configuration to run OfficeClip Web Document Sharing.

Hardware Web Server and/or the Database Server (it is assumed that both will be installed on the same machine). Pentium III - 350 Mhz with 256 MB RAM and 200MB Hard Drive. Pentium III - 600 Mhz with 512 MB RAM and 1GB Disk Space or higher.
Operating Systems Supports windows 2000, XP Professional, windows 2003 or higher. Windows 2000 Professional / Windows XP Professional / Windows 2003 Web Edition Windows 2000 Server/Windows 2003 Server.
Web Server Software The Web Server that handles client's requests IIS 5.0 IIS 5.0/IIS 6.0 or higher
Database The Database Management System Sql Server (Express Edition) - Bundled with OfficeClip, or Sql Server 2000 Sql Server 2005
Client Browser The client browser specification that is used to access the system IE 5.5, Netscape 7.0 and Mozilla 1.2 on windows and IE 5 for Mac IE 6.0, Netscape 7.0 and Mozilla 1.3 on Windows and IE5.1 on Mac.
