Customer Portal

Create online collaboration to improve communication, efficiency and collaboration. The OfficeClip Customer Portal provides the ability to create events for the entire organization via an intuitive server installation package. It is designed to run on a web server that can be accessed via a web browser. Created using the Microsoft .Net framework®, it provides flexible configuration and implementation on numerous web client devices.

This overview describes the features and functionality offered with the Customer Portal, an easy to use, affordable, low-maintenance enterprise level software solution.

Platform Independent Client

The customer portal is designed to run on a web browser, which ensures platform independence when used on desktop and mobile devices.

Powerful Backend built on the MS SQL Server Database

All the customer portal events are stored in an MS SQL Server database, which provides architectural power and flexibility in a data-driven environment. OfficeClip applications are bundled with the Sql Server (Express Edition), which offers a low-cost, low-volume database solution which can later be migrated to a heavily loaded, high availability platform.

High-Level Information Flow

Users of the customer portal create online collaboration using a web browser. The request from the web browser goes to the web server, which then utilizes business logic to communicate with the SQL Server database.
