OfficeClip 8.1.4 Release
A new release of OfficeClip has been published that contains the following:
- Redesigned OfficeClip Extranet
- OfficeClip reports have been improved. We are now using RDL reports in addition to Crystal Reports
- Addition of Clone feature in OfficeClip
- Numerous small enhancements and fixes
Redesigned OfficeClip Extranet
Based on your feedback via email and forum (forum.officeclip.com). Based we have revamped the OfficeClip extranet application. Here is a brief overview of what we did:
- We made it easy to use. The application now have Quickhelp throughout that helps the first time users to setup and use extranet quickly.
- Many of our users wanted to integrate extranet login with their website. The new release provides multiple way to configure the extranet so that it seamlessly integrates with your website.
- Our new RDL reporting feature now integrates with Extranet
We have created a new video on extranet for you that shows how to use OfficeClip Extranet effectively.

Making RDL a standard reporting system in OfficeClip
The enhancements to the report section is taken out of beta. OfficeClip now uses RDL reports in all its applications. These reports have ability to select and name fields, grouping, sorting, filtering etc. You can even drop in your custom reports.
For backward compatibility reasons we have still kept the Crystal Interface to OfficeClip reports, we expect it to be phased out slowly over a few major releases.
