New Application: Invoices
With the release 8.2.4, we have created a new application in OfficeClip that will make it easier for your customers to pay invoices directly from OfficeClip. The new application, called Invoices, allows you to:
- Create Invoices within OfficeClip
- Keep track of the invoice status
- Send invoices via email
- Allows your customers to pay for the invoices directly from their web-browser
You can use this invoicing feature if you are using the Hosted version of OfficeClip. You can also use it if you have installed OfficeClip on your machine. Following are some of the requirements:
- You will need to have a Merchant Account with a Bank (or you can also use paypal)
- If you have installed OfficeClip and do not have SSL (Secured Socket Layer) certificate, the web payment of invoices will be disabled by default. Please contact us if you want to test this feature without SSL

Bug Fixes and Enhancements
In this released we mostly focussed on implementing Invoices and fixing bugs. Some of the fixes and enhancements include:
- Bug Fix: Some of the users reported that the mobile link (sent via Text Message) was getting cut off at the end.
- We have added a new build number to the OfficeClip version number. You will now see the OfficeClip version shown with another number e.g. 8.2.4.15
