An array of rules are provided to govern Web Bug & Issue Tracker email automation.
An example of a popular rule is to send an email to the user specified in the "Assigned To" field, when the "Assigned To" field in an existing case is changed.
A user is thus alerted when an existing case is re-assigned to them.

This allows group members to always be up-to-date concerning the status of the project.
