It is a mechanism that allows project managers and administrators to review and approve timesheets
for other users. Once approved, the time and expense entries for that period
are usually locked and can only be edited by administrators.
The Approver is the person who reviews the timesheet or expenses and can choose to approve or reject them.
Importance of Timesheet Approvals:
The supervisor not only checks the errors but also makes sure the hours worked on a
project are at par with what was committed to the client. If there is any shortfall,
the supervisor can add more resources to the project or send an employee from one project to another.
Timesheet approval done by the supervisor ensures that the employees work as per
the company policy and report the work done correctly for proper invoicing and billing.

individuals are authorized to provide approval for each employee.
Manual Mode: In this mode, the approver can be selected manually for submission of timesheets.
Automated Mode: Upon submission, timesheet goes to the pre-determined supervisor.
