Adding Service Items

Service Items are the task categories of a timesheet. The user can modify the service items, and make them either billable or non-billable. These items can be customized while creating timesheet report templates for specific accounts or projects. Once the administrator assigns the service items, users have to submit their timesheets only for the selected items.

To create Service items:

  1. Click HRM > Timesheet > Admin > Service Items.

  2. In the template, enter the Service Item code and Name. Select the options Yes or No from the Is Billable column to make the item billable or non-billable, respectively. You can also select Both, which allow the users to specify if that particular time entry is billable.
  3. Select the Account/Project for which this service items will be applicable.
  4. Click Save at the bottom to save the changes.
  5. To add additional rows for more service items click on the icon.
  6. Click Save and Next button to save and go to the next screen.
  7. To go back to the Timesheet list screen, click on the icon.
