To create birthday filter do the following...

1. Bring up the Contact Manager application
2. Create a New Filter
3. In the filter condition field screen select Birthdate
4. In the Operation drop down select This Month (any year) - this assumes that when entering the contact birthdate you have not put the correct year of birth
5. Select some fields and save the filter
6. Select the filter from the Contact Manager List screen by selecting from the filter drop down
