Quote from SK Dutta on January 7, 2022, 9:06 amOfficeClip Contact Manager has multiple levels of security access:
- System wide access - This is pre-programmed as Read Only for everyone and read/write/delete/append for owner and administrators.
- Organization wide access - This can be controlled from the Settings > Organization Settings > Privileges > Manage Roles. Click on the Edit role privileges icon for the role you want to change access. Here you find the Contacts entity and then change the access level for this entity. Note that this will affect the access for all the contacts in the system that has not been explicitly changed.
- Access based on Roles - Access for individual Contacts (or bulk contacts based on rules) can be controlled by clicking on the Contact Details and then clicking on Change Permission link.
- Access based on Users - Access for a contact can be controlled in the same way as roles, i.e. you can click on the Contact to go to the details window and then click on the Change Permission link.
