Managing the Home Page Widgets
We have people that only need access to timesheets; however, on the homepage they can see all contact and other information that we don’t want to see. How can we change the setting on the homepage?
I remember seeing something but I can’t find it within setup. Can you direct to the spot?

Please do the following:

- Login to OfficeClip as an administrator
- Go to Home Page and click on Admin
- Here you can do various things:
You can click on Reset All Dashboard to reset all changes that anybody has done on their widgets (This is recommended as individual changes done before admin changes remains)

- You can click on Manage Catalog to restrict view of various widgets
- You can click on the Edit icon next to each widget and make changes to them

You can come out of this mode when you click on Home Page again
Can you have different setting for different user types? For example, I would like our Account Managers to see their contact (my contacts) but our engineers only need timesheets, expenses and calendar events from their homepage.
Hi,
This can be done by Blocking Applications. Say you do not want your Engineers to see the Contact Manager, you can block that application from them. To Block an application, create a New Role called Engineer and then block the Contact Manager application from them. Once blocked, the application will not show up on the Home Page widget.
